Prizes given at VSCC Know 1 Feed 1 event

The Feed at Volunteer State Community College will be having a donation event, Know 1 Feed
1 Sept. 25,11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. in the Mary Cole Nichols Dinning hall A and B.
Students can bring as many bottles of water to the event for donation and will receive tickets for
every bottle that they bring. The tickets will go into a drawing for gift baskets.
The prizes will be gift baskets created and donated by Student Government Association and
other clubs on campus.
Have you ever been to The Feed? Tours of The Feed will be available during Know 1Feed1.
Students can see and help be a part of the solution as 15 percent of the student are food insecure.
TiffanyZwart, coordinator of student support will be the contact person with any questions.
She also stated that water would be as easy as going to the cafeteria and getting a bottle to be
entered.
Ashley Cline, student at VSCC stayed she had seen the bins around campus to donate
food.”Helping those in need is always a good thing,” said Cline.
