Annie Warbucks Musical Coming Vol State Stage

The musical Annie Warbucks is coming to the stage of Volunteer State Community College for a Theater Department production on March 26, 27, and 28. The performances will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Caudill Auditorium on the Gallatin campus. Admission is $5 and proceeds will fund student scholarships. Students with their Vol State ID can enter for free. According to Music Theatre International, the musical picks up after the classic musical Annie. Child Welfare commissioner Harriet Doyle informs Daddy Warbucks he must marry within 60 days in order for him to retain custody of the newly adopted Annie. However, Doyle intention’s are not as they seem and Daddy Warbucks soon suspects Doyle and her daughter are seeking to strip him of his fortune and keep him from marrying his true love, Grace Farrell.  For more information one can call 615-230-3202.
