Comedian Aaron Weber to Perform in Gallatin for Volunteer State’s “Complete the Dream” Event

By: Everett Scott

Ever wondered what is paying your scholarship? One of the many events that help support the students on this campus is the “Complete the Dream” event, which is occurring on Nov. 4 in the Epic Event Centre in Gallatin Tennessee. There is a list of sponsors who helped fund the event at the Epic Event Center, with said sponsors ranging from Pinnacle Financial Partners to Livingston Regional Hospital.

Each sponsor has donated a certain amount of money, with different titles and representation being based upon the amount donated. For instance, Livingston Regional Hospital donated the largest amount of money possible, granting them the title of ‘2022 Dream Maker Sponsor,’ with a 5,000-dollar donation. You can even donate if you wish to support Vol State by clicking here.

The base attendance fee is $85, with the next level being ‘Caring Hearts’ at 1,500 dollars, then ‘Dream Inspirer’, ‘Dream Cultivator’, then the largest being ‘Dream Maker’.

“The event that was scheduled for the Great Hall in Ramer was in September. This was our Annual Dinner that recognizes donors that support the Vol State College Foundation. However, our upcoming event, Complete the Dream, is on November 3rd at Epic Event Centre. The Complete the Dream event/dinner raises money for Vol State student scholarships, The Feed, and the VSCC Student Emergency Fund,” stated Alison Webster, Development Officer in the Office of Resource Development.

The Feed is a student food pantry that was organized to help support and provide for their students’ needs.

The Epic Event Centre is located on 392 W Main St, Gallatin, TN 37066.  An open-air front entrance venue with a wooden roof, the building itself has options to host weddings, corporate events, and a variety of other events. They’ve expanded their reach, with their own website, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok account.

The event itself is a Dinner party at 5:30 P.M. with well-known comedian Aaron Weber providing the evening’s entertainment. Weber was born in Montgomery, AL and is based out of Nashville. He has performed across the southern United States and has upcoming performances in Atlanta, Georgia, and Dayton, Ohio. Weber’s interests vary from the infamous TV show Better Call Saul to yard work and watching sports. Weber’s Myspace page contains dates of his future shows should you be interested in attending one of his shows.
