Halloween Attractions and Activities

With Halloween right around the corner, there are many activities for students in the middle Tennessee area. 

Nashville Nightmares  

In 13 years of operating, Nashville Nightmares holds 1518 + five-star reviews and was announced as one of the top five most terrifying haunted houses in the USA. 

Nashville Nightmares is located at 1016 Madison Square, Madison TN from:

 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on Tues.-Thurs. 

7 p.m.-11 p.m. on Fri. 

6 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Sun. 

Closed on Mondays until Sat., Sept. 11. 

The main four attractions with just the general admission are the “Vector Research Alien Threat”, “Horror High Homecoming”, “Legends of the Mythos Dark Fabulyst”, and “Midnight Mortuary Blood Ritual.” Extra attractions that must be paid for outside of general admission are “Mummy’s Curse”, “Outcast Carnival”, and mini escape games. 

Tickets can either be purchased online or in person. General admission is $29.99, the fast pass is $39.99, skip the line is $49.99 and platinum is $99.99. 

Full Moon Slaughterhouse  

“Full Moon Slaughterhouse. Nashville’s longest-running attraction” includes a self-guided tour through five theaters of the old Courtyard Theater that was abandoned 13 years ago. Also, viewings of classic movies are available at Full Moon Cineplex “at its new home and new ownership,” said the Full Moon Slaughterhouse website, which also featured its operating days and hours: 

Fri. Oct. 21, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

Sat. Oct. 22, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

Sun. Oct. 23, 7 p.m.-10 p.m. 

Thurs. Oct. 27, 7 p.m.-10 p.m. 

Fri. Oct. 28, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

Sat. Oct. 29, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

Sun. Oct. 30, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

Mon. Oct. 31, 7 p.m.-Midnight 

G/A Tickets are $30. Movie and Haunt are $38 and Dinner, Movie, and Haunt are $57 which are all available at Slaughterhouse Hauntpay. 

Ravens Hollow 

The Ravens Hollow Haunted Forest trail consists of a walk through a wooded area (approximately a quarter mile from the start of the trail.)” that is open until 10 p.m. on Halloween.  

Designed to be “bigger and better than ever with new spectacles, tableaus, and effects that are sure to get you in the mood for Halloween!” said the Ravens Hollow website. Which also included the trail’s operating schedule. 

Oct. 20, 21, 27, 28, and 30. from 7 p.m.-10 p.m., except on Oct. 31, the trail opens at 7:30 p.m. 

“Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven areas, and as thus is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking or keeping balance. It is suitable for most children, and those who are unable to walk can be carried.” The company also shared waivers that must be either agreed to or signed by every adult guest. 

Tickets are available at the ticket booth, $18 for general admission, $8 for ages 3-5, and 0-2 are free.
