Masks no longer required at Vol State

By Vol State Public Relations

Masks will no longer be required on Volunteer State Community College campuses for those who are vaccinated. People who are not vaccinated and those at high risk are encouraged to still wear masks.

Vol State is returning to in-person classes and campus student events this fall. The college has also expanded online course delivery, adding Zoom online classes as part of the regular offerings.

Zoom classes were first implemented as a response to COVID, but many students liked the format of an online class with regular Zoom class meetings.

The college will continue to follow CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff. New and readmit students can apply now for fall classes at Vol State. They start August 23. Visit Apply to Vol State to get started.
