The Student Government Association held a zoom meeting on Tuesday April 28th.
The meeting started at 11:16 a.m. and discussed the zoom format and how to improve zoom meetings. The meeting also discussed club meeting formats, such as how the clubs have been meeting since campus has closed, and how they prefer to meet. They found that most clubs have been meeting less frequently, and 4 of the 8 responses found that the club members prefer to meet and share information through email.
The meeting also went over the SGA constitution and the general assembly requirements.
The meeting discussed academic accountability, and how they should define the general assembly requirements because it says the members must maintain “satisfactory academic progress”. The members wanted to make sure all expectations are clearly defined.
