Volunteer State Service and Job Fair

The Service and Job Fair is set to take place on Wednesday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Pickel Field House Gym.

This event is designed to celebrate National Service Month, World Health Days, and provide an opportunity for community members to explore job openings and student service-learning projects.

The fair will feature a variety of booths and tables highlighting health and wellness initiatives, community partners, and local companies seeking to hire individuals. Attendees will have the chance to engage with community guests and learn about the work they are doing in the region.

One of the main focuses of the fair is student service-learning projects. These projects will be presented by students from across the college who have been working on various initiatives throughout the academic year. This gives an opportunity for attendees to learn about the positive impact that students are making in the community through their service projects.

In addition to the student projects, attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about health and wellness initiatives in the community. Tables will be set up to provide information about healthy living, mental health, and other wellness-related topics.

Local companies will also be on hand to discuss job opportunities and career paths.

The Service & Job Fair is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress appropriately for potential job opportunities.
