Student Art Show seeks submissions

The Annual Student Art Show at Volunteer State Community College is just around the corner.

The showcase, which is set to take place during April, will feature a diverse range of artwork from students across the campus.

Submissions for the Annual Student Art Show are due April 6 in the Art Department on the second floor of SRB, after which a panel of outside jurors will review and select the best pieces for display. The goal is to showcase a wide variety of art styles, mediums, and techniques that students have to offer.

The college will have all of accepted works hung in the Vol State Art Gallery in SRB by April 14. The gallery is open to the public throughout the duration of the exhibition, providing an excellent opportunity for art enthusiasts to view and appreciate the works of the next generation of artists.

The college will host a public reception on April 26, to celebrate the Annual Student Art Show. The reception will be open to students, faculty, and members of the community.

The Annual Student Art Show promises to be a unique and exciting event, showcasing the diverse talents and creativity of the college’s student body. Be sure to mark your calendars and join in on the fun!
